These 41-year-old vineyards are all located within the municipality of Laguardia. The soil is very poor calcareous-clay on south-facing slopes. The Viura and Malvasia varieties of grapes on these wholly-owned vineyards are harvested by hand.
Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence which varies extremely between summer and winter.
Annual rainfall: 400 litres.
The fruit is mechanically de-stemmed and pressed and left to macerate for 5 hours at low temperature. The must ferments with the lees in stainless steel tanks for 20 days at 16˚C. Stabilisation is maintained by cooling.
Pale and bright in colour with greenish hues. Aromas of fresh berries and newly cut grass, with a fine and elegant expression of the variety of the grape. Very fresh and well-balanced palate. An equilibrium of fruity and warm flavours.
This wine is highly appetising with salads, seafood, assorted soups and creams, steamed or fried fish, boiled and au gratin vegetables, poultry and smoked meats, snacks or not overly sweet desserts.
