41-year-old vineyards located within the municipality of Laguardia. The soil is very poor calcareous-clay on south-facing slopes.
Wholly-owned vineyards.
Hand-picked Tempranillo variety.
Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence which varies extremely between summer and winter.
Annual rainfall: 400 litres.
The grapes ferment initially in stainless steel tanks for about 10 days, followed by a further 5 to 8 days with daily pump-overs. Finally, the wine is stored in new French oak barrels for 6 months before being bottled, where it rounds off.
Deep dark cherry red robe with a nice, clean and bright cloak. Light aromas of Crianza with a predominance of fruit. Well integrated acidity on the palate, a broad and intensely-flavoured finish.
Suitable for accompanying very tasty fish, fine charcuterie (Iberico), all kinds of roast meat, grilled stews, foie gras, sirloin, duck, partridge, game, cured and strong meats.
